WeSC: The Superlative Union
WeSC (We are the Superlative Conspiracy) is based out of Sweden. My favorite part about it is the quality and the fit. You can always expect a lot of colours and for their product to sell quickly! It is supported by graphic artists, athletes and musicians. It is very popular among all ages, especially within Saskatoon. The look book for Fall has a wedding theme where you can have a quick glance at what the models are sporting.

Just a Taste: Yip Hong
One of my favorite things to do on a Sunday morning is to go yum cha with the family. This time we went to Yip Hong's and it was quite busy. I realized that the Asian people were all crowded up at 10:30-11 am, while all of the Canadian folks were just beginning to show up at that 12 o'clock lunch time mark. Yum cha generally ends around 12:30-1, so if you are interested try to show up a bit earlier. Yip Hong's is like most Asian restaurants, non modernized decor but excellent food. As of now, I would say that it is the most popular restaurant in the city for authentic Chinese dishes.
It was pretty delicious, the only thing that disappointed me today was the selection. I felt like the same dishes were being brought around, there were a lot of foods that we weren't offered. We still managed to enjoy ourselves by eating rice noodles, spare ribs, taro root and mango pudding with condensed milk just to name a few things. If you are willing to try eating something like this, I would recommend Yip Hong or the Mandarin.

Wicked Games cover
"Béatrice Martin, better known as Cœur de Pirate, is something for the masses. Her self-titled debut album released in 2008 and took the francophone world by storm. With an origin of Quebec, she sings most of her songs in french, however from experience even if you don’t speak french you will enjoy her album. The video above is Cœur de Pirate’s rendition of Wicked Games from the ever popular Toronto musician, the Weeknd." -The Informants

Adidas x Ransom
Ransom is holding it down in the Great White North. The on going collaboration never seems to fail. The collection is expected to release this fall at select accounts. It just so happens that over at Momentum on 8th Street. That's besides the point though, the reason why I am doing this post is not to focus on the product but to rather to talk about the advertisement.

Just a Taste: Asian Garden Restaurant
The Asian Garden Restaurant is located where the old Hao's Kitchen was, above Panago and Cherry Insurance on 8th Street. They serve sushi, Vietnamese and Chinese food. Like a lot of Asian restaurants in the city, prices are affordable and servings are generous. It's a reliable restaurant, I can't say that I have ever been disappointed and waiting time is not long either. They have lunch specials, so if you work around here it's worth the try. I usually just play it safe with the Asian special vermicelli (pork, shrimp, spring rolls and vegetables). Enjoy the photos!
If you have any suggestions of where else we should try eating, leave a comment.

The Weeknd - Thursday (Download)
The second project that I have listened to by The Weeknd. I honestly don't too much about the man, he seems to be quite mysterious. The only fact that I know is that he is from the Great White North.
If you are in the mood for slow jams and some hot R&B, you will really dig this. He tends to sing about sexual/adult themes, so don't be offended by some of the things he says. So far I am enjoying it as much as his past mixtape, House of Balloons. I've given it a few listens so far and I am really liking "The Zone" (featuring Drake) and "The Birds Part 1".
Download while the link is still active.

Jordan V Release
“The latest retro version of this one brings back all the nostalgia, as tomorrow sees it hit shelves like it was 1990 again.”
This year has been a great one for Jordan retros, and this time around it’s the Black/Metallic Silver V for all you enthusiasts who may have slept on the OG. The only difference from the original is the “#23″ on the side paneling which only accentuates all the other little details: the 3m tongue, fighter-plane-inspiration, icy outsole and the ventilation panel. Even the Fresh Prince couldn’t resist! - JJ

Photograph tees
This past year my taste for fashion has been everywhere. I felt like as I matured in age that I had to wear basics. Basically I would do an everyday denim, Gap shirts and an everyday shoe. It's funny, I realized I chose to dress like that because of the lifestyle/fashion at the business college within university. Now that I look at it I don't want to be a thing like them. I'm not the type of guy who wears tight button ups with a messenger bag and pair of Aldo shoes. I can dress like that when I am older if I choose to. For now I can step in different directions and decide what I like.
I've recently became more interested in photographic tees (such as our soon released tee with Provadenic). Why? It might be because I am starting to appreciate more what it takes to take a good shot. Secondly I like how clean it can look on shirt. I looked into it a lot after I saw the ones that Wayne Levin did for Canada's Reigning Champ. I have grabbed a couple off photograph style tees this summer to show you guys.

FRONT Magazine
Here is Arabella Drummond dressing and undressing herself in HUF clothing. It's funny how companies use these as advertisement because the clothing is generally the last thing you notice. For example, all I can think about is how tattoos look great on women but not on their necks. Also if you closely you will see ass and a nipple piercing. Enjoy.

Watch the Throne
About half an hour ago I managed to pick up Ye and Jay's album. In Saskatoon this CD is either sold out or put on back order. If you want it now, I would suggest you go to HMV in Lawson Heights Mall to get hooked up.
I've been listening to it a lot as I play FIFA '11 (I believe I am on my fifth or sixth full listen), it gets me fired up. Artists featured include Frank Ocean, Beyonce, Otis Redding, Mr. Hudson and Curtis Mayfield. My favorites at the moment are "Niggas in Paris", "Gotta Have it" and "Murder to Excellence".

Momentum Skate Session
This past Sunday, a group of us got together to skate and celebrate the release of our first deck model. There we had food, drinks, giveaways and a classic game of SKATE. Here's a small video I put together to better show you what was going on that day.

Disappointed
Just todayI tried to order myself the Nike Tiempo Legend IV Elite. Apparently Nike has sold every unit in their stock. So the plan now is to order the next pair as soon as possible, regardless of the color. Hopefully there will be a release early this fall. I plan on doing a review and photos once I own a pair.

Just a Taste: Las Palapas
Another great Mexican restaurant in Saskatoon. The atmosphere is awesome, the restaurant is always filled with happy people. More importantly, the food and drinks are even better. You will have difficulties deciding what to order with their extensive menus. If you are vegetarian or vegan there will be no problem, Las Palapas caters to all.
My favorite dish is the fish tacos with the sweet fries. My friend's mother introduced it to me about four years ago at Las Palapas. I honestly think I like it more than regular beef tacos. Why? Well because the dish is light and fresh, after the meal you feel good.

Just a Taste: Homestead Ice Cream
If you want a large selection of cold treats, Homestead probably has the largest. You can explore the ice creams by eating flavors such as dill pickle or Harry Potter themed flavors. This time we tried a red velvet dish which was fantastic. I am never disappointed with the treats that I order. But I have heard many complaints that strollers are not allowed in Homestead, this makes it not a family friendly parlor.

Momentum Deck
About a year ago I took a small piece of loose leaf and sketched out some graphics for a potential graphic for a skateboard. The idea was thought of back in grade ten when Mike Klassen and I dreamed of making a clothing company. Basically we took the Mighty Morphin Power Ranger logo (a child favorite) and put in our own words. At the time a huge thing was taking past and present logos and incorporating it into something to call your own.
It's finally been brought to life by Momentum, all staff gave input and helped improve what I had presented. There will be a release get together with staff, friends and the skate team on August 7 from 2-5 pm at the mini skate setup beside Centennial Collegiate. Come stop by and say what's up, you can either skate or just come hang out.

Las Vegas pt. 4
Here is my final post on the trip. Basically I was taking random video clips and in the end I decided to put them together to share here. Some of the clips my hands are quite shaky but hopefully that doesn't stop you from watching or enjoying it.
