A lot of people have been disappointed that they are not able to participate in their regular winter activities this year. I have felt this way also not being able to go snowboarding or sledding. This is a reason why I have taken up skating again. The Delta Bessborough has been keeping up with their flooding and ice maintenance this year. There, you do not have to worry about hockey players or interrupting games but can relax and enjoy skating around. The lodge has open hours where you can rent skates, warm up, drink from a water fountain and use the washroom. Also many outdoor rinks have been in the works. Regardless of the amount of snow we have gotten this year, the city has been trying to keep the citizens happy.
