How to make Fish Tacos

This meal was inspired by Pamela Salzman's blog. It is a great place to find healthy recipes. My girlfriend showed me this blog, so we decided to make a supper with the help of Pamela Salzman. After a day of watching Chopped and Eat St. we decided to make fish tacos complimented by an avocado and mango salad. Let me explain and show you how it was done.

Ingredients needed for Fish Tacos
Tortillas
White fish (ex. halibut or haddock)
Lime juice
Cumin
Olive oil
Salt and Pepper
Vegetables of your choice

Steps
We took one quarter of a cup of lime juice, two tablespoons of olive oil and half a teaspoon of ground cumin and mixed it in a bowl. We placed two pieces of haddock in a shallow and long dish and poured the marinade over it. Then we added a tiny bit of salt and a lot of pepper and let the fish sit for a half hour. After it marinated for a half hour we put it in the oven at 450 for about 10-15 minutes.

As the fish was marinading we made a sauce for it.

Ingredients needed for the sauce
Mayonnaise
Unsweetened yogurt
Lime juice
Hot sauce

Steps
We added six tablespoons of mayo, six tablespoons of the yogurt, a tablespoon of lime juice, a pinch of salt and a teaspoon and a half of Frank's Red Hot Sauce "Chile 'n' Lime". Then mix it up and refrigerate it as the fish cooks.

With a meal like this you can have any side of your choice. A lot of things go well with fish tacos: soup, salad, fries, yam fries, etc. We went with this avocado and mango salad. It went well with it because of it's fresh and sweet taste.

Conclusion
This meal was delicious, the sauce made fish tacos taste that much better. So good that I ate four tacos and a couple of servings of salad. It was also easy, fun and quick to make. Take a gander on Pamela Salzman's blog and make something to impress yourself, your family or a date.
